"On behalf of LBT and personally, I want to thank you and the Rejoice Singers for being a part of our Annual Dinner. The music that you chose, especially the last song, fit in beautifully to the spirit of the evening. If anyone should ask about "satisfied customers," feel completely free to use our name. Please also feel free to share my greeting with the other members of your team who were with us. Again, thanks so much for your ministry among us."
Dr. Marshall R. Gillam, CFRE, CM - Executive Director: Lutheran Bible Translators
"It was truly "God-incidence" that I happened to hear and see the Rejoice Singers that Sunday long ago in Palatine. The power of your faith and the message of your music has brought Christ present into worship and into the lives of worshippers. What a ministry!"
Pastor David Russell - United Protestant Church, Grayslake, Illinois
"Do you want to know there is a God? Do you want to know you do not have to face the challenges of life alone? Do you want to know God has a life for you that will never end? Do you want to know how much God loves you? One of the best ways to make this discovery is through the ministry of The Rejoice Singers. Under the leadership of Nancy Helland, this group of singers from different congregations, has come together with the gifts God has given them, to bring a living testimony to the love of God He has for all. If you ever have the opportunity to hear them, do not pass it up. Be sure to invite your unchurched friends with you!"
Bill Majer, Pastor - Faith Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights, Illinois
"Just a note to thank you again for your participation in the music ministry for our Chapel service this past spring. As always, your choice of music and presentation is in keeping with the theme of the day. Feedback from our congregation is always so positive; our members enjoy the rich variety of musical styles and the servant attitude Rejoice Singers bring to worship. We look forward to your being with us again in the near future. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry."
Lee Nelson - Director of Music, First Presbyterian Church, Arlington Heights, IL
"...Throughout the past nearly twenty years of my association with them, the personnel of the group has changed, but the consistency of their spiritual impact, personal warmth, and musical capabilities has remained amazingly consistent. The response to their participation in a worship service is always positive. They are able to sing in a variety of settings and with a versatility of style and repertoire, from traditional to contemporary..." (click here for entire letter)

"Professional, incredible, worshipful and spiritually uplifting are all words I would use to describe the Rejoice Singers. Not only is their music uplifting, but the people singing let their deep faith in Jesus Christ come through their singing. Their music ministry is a demonstration of their servant hearts and commitment to Jesus Christ, and the building of His kingdom. A must for a spiritually, uplifting concert or worship service."
Tim Hetzner - President, Lutheran Church Charities

"Rejoice has been a wonderful blessing to our church. This group of Christian musicians has brought Spirit-filled music to help us in worship. They have also helped us grow in our appreciation of newer Christian songs. I have no doubt that our current vibrant worship variety has been sparked in part through the ministry of Rejoice."
Pastor Michael Newman - Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Palatine IL
"It is always a special privilege to have the Rejoice Singers minister in concert in our church. They minister to a very broad spectrum of Christian believers and wonderfully braid together the traditional and the contemporary. Folks just love their music. Most of all, one quickly senses their devotional heart and love for the Lord, and we quickly discern that they serve out of very deep commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ."
Rev. Martin G. Stuck, Ph.D., Pastor - Evangelical Community Church, Palatine, IL
"Thank you so very much for your ministry at our church with the performance of He's Alive! I will uphold your rich and powerful ministry in my prayers. How you are transforming lives for Jesus Christ!"
Rev. Martha E. Hill - 1st United Methodist Church, Palatine,
To Whom It May Concern:
It is indeed my pleasure and honor to write this letter of recommendation for Nancy Helland and the Rejoice Singers. During my music ministry at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine, Illinois, and now during my tenure as Director of Music at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois, I have had the Rejoice Singers minister on many, many occasions.
Throughout the past nearly twenty years of my association with them, the personnel of the group has changed, but the consistency of their spiritual impact, personal warmth, and musical capabilities has remained amazingly consistent. The response to their participation in a worship service is always positive. They are able to sing in a variety of settings and with a versatility of style and repertoire, from traditional to contemporary.
One of the things that makes the Rejoice Singers so effective in a typical congregational setting is that the singers do not come across as "better than thou" professionals, but as fellow believers who are simply sharing the gifts God has given them. Their consistent quality comes from the first-rate conducting skills and spiritual sensitivity of their director, Nancy Helland. She is an energetic, vibrant leader who inspires her singers to do their best. She continues to study, expand, attend workshops, and challenge both herself and the group.
I am confident that the Rejoice Singers would bless any worship setting to which they are invited.
Yours in Christ,
Director of Music
Assistant Director of Pastoral Care Services
